The most popular gas boilers are standard and combination boilers and are now available in condensing varieties.
Standard boilers heat your radiators and hot water when activated by a control, hot water is then stored in a cylinder until it is needed.
Combination boilers heat the radiators in the same way as a standard boiler but provide hot water on demand.
Both boilers are readily available in condensing varieties; these are designed to recycle heat and therefore reducing energy consumption and bills.

Annual Boiler Servicing and Maintenance
Services include, Isolating the gas and electrical supply to the appliance, dismantle and gain access to the combustion area and control and clean, check the following, heat exchanger surface, main burger, pilot burner, the fan.
Then check and replace where necessary safety devices, check all water, electrical and gas connections for soundness and safety, check flueways and air intake ducts and flue terminals, check and confirm ventilation requirements, carry out a flue flow test and spillage test if appliance is opened flued, check burner gas pressure against manufacturers data, check all combustion chamber seals for soundness, check stability of appliance and any retaining devices, check the working gas pressure, carry out an efficiency test on the boiler.
